So I'm sitting here having had 3 days of orientation, which has been good. The term 'student' is a label I thought I'd lost. Last night was an organised bar crawl through Uppsala's 'Nations' (like a college system), which was a giggle, especially finding some Sam Adams...ok that's probably really sad, but it's so good. Had some Newky Brown, which smelt like a fruit cocktail...hmmm, not the best. So for those who don't know my Masters title (providing I don't royally screw it up) is MSc Immunology and Infection Biology. Fingers crossed in 2 years not only will my Swedish consist of more than about 3 words but another degree certificate, which not too many people will have....employment here I come!!
As I don't have a camera my pictures might suck, but I'll try stealing them off other people. That's all for now, bring on Monday for my first course lecture in 'from genes to cells'.
P.S. It's been at least 25 degrees and glorius sunshine for the last 5 days....yep, be jealous, be very, very jealous.
